Welcome to the Slow Summer Festival
Orange and the surrounding region are gearing up to host the 2012 Slow Summer Festival and what a week it promises to be.....
Water, family fun and a healthy lifestyle give the festival a broad appeal to all ages. There are a number of exciting and unique events to participate in across the 10 days including three special signature events – A Day at the Beach, Australia Day Celebrations and Orange Picnic Races.
A day at the Beach will see the Orange Bush Nippers Club in action alongside the Colour City Dragonboat Club and so much more. We encourage the community to meet up with friends in Robertson Park each morning for a Rotary Breaky and free newspaper provided by Central Western Daily.
Our beautiful region offers so much for families which will be showcased during the festival. Whether it be an art exhibition, an outdoor movie, a family bike ride, trying your hand at croquet – there is something for everyone.
Whilst you are unearthing the many memorable experiences available during the festival, we urge you to explore our wonderful region and visit the surrounding villages.
We hope you enjoy our 2012 Slow Summer Festival.
