Events Support Group

The Events Support Group (ESG) is a collaboration of members of event committees including F.O.O.D, Wine Week, Slow Summer, Frost Fest, Farmers Markets, Stay Orange, TOWAC Co-operative and Village Committees. They have combined their formidable marketing and operational experience to continue to build on partnerships with existing businesses and attract new business partners to deliver broader benefits by underwriting and enhancing existing regional events, providing some economies of scale across events, as well as develop future regional marketing initiatives.

The new voluntary group comprises a management group whose role will be to oversee the management and use of partnership investments, an administrator and local Councils. The administrator will be Taste Orange due to its current involvement in the marketing of regional tourism in Orange, its management structure and its proven ability to garner support and deliver results. The role of Taste Orange as administrator of the group, will be to procure and manage business partnerships, marketing and administration.

The objective of the ESG is to work collaboratively to facilitate the procurement, management and delivery of guaranteed local, state and national business partnerships for promotion of regional events, so as to provide uniformity, continuity and sustainability, enhancing existing events and generating a productive environment to investigate new events. Further, to promote the Orange region through innovative and diverse marketing activities with potential to significantly increase business partnerships, whilst ensuring that those business partners realise an enduring return on investment.
