Background

Orange Region Vigneron’s Association and Taste Orange have established a Charitable Trust known as Orange Aid. The purpose of the trust is to assist local groups seeking small grants support for worthwhile projects within the Orange, Cabonne and Blayney local government areas. Surplus wine from the annual Orange Region Wine Show is donated to Orange Aid
for community fund raising. The proceeds of this fund raising, or wine is available for the
benefit of the local community.

Apply

Local charitable, not for profit groups and community organisations working to support local initiatives are eligible to apply for up to $500 or for wine up to this value. Where wine is applied for it is with the agreement that it will be used to generate income for the group – through raffle or function value -add for example and that the wine is not made available
for people under the age of 18.

Applications will be assessed annually by a panel comprising two representatives of ORVA executive and two from Taste Orange.
