Orange F.O.O.D Week is a gastronomical celebration and extravaganza held over 10 days in April each year. Experience locally grown food from the shires of Orange, Cabonne and Blayney as well as the region’s beautiful autumn colours. From vegetables to venison meet the farmers who grow the food and the chefs, caterers and cooks who create extraordinary dishes from it! There are over 100 individual food related events happening throughout the region including a number of major community events:
Night Market - the opening night of F.O.O.D Week featuring food, local wines and entertainment.
Forage - enjoy a six course 'moveable feast' as you walk the 3.5km from Borenore to Nashdale through picturesque vineyards and rolling countryside.
100 Mile Dinner - make new friends seated at communal tables down the 'crooked main street' of the Canowindra village enjoying an evening of food, wine and music.
F.O.O.D train – clickety clack your way to F.O.O.D week – a fully escorted package including accommodation, return train from Sydney and tickets to some major events.
F.O.O.D Affair - pack up the kids, bring the picnic blanket and enjoy a delightful family day out sampling the region’s food, as well as filling your grocery basket from the Producers Pantry.
F.O.O.D Central - the one stop shop for information, merchandise, product tastings and anything else ‘F.O.O.D Week’.
